Some stories have been told for so long that we no longer remember where they began.
A Long Story
A Long Story draws from the visual language of ancient Roman sculpture, reliefs and historical tapestries, translating their crowded narratives into a loose, contemporary composition. Figures overlap, gestures repeat and forms dissolve into one another, as if fragments from different moments have been gathered into a single scene. There is no clear beginning or ending. Only the familiar human tendency to move, gather, observe and repeat, carried from one time into another.
The work can be displayed in any orientation, depending on the space and personal preference.
