This painting came from the feeling of arranging something personal, but not in a perfect or decorative way. I was interested in the idea of a still life, but I didn’t want it to feel traditional or too carefully composed.

There are fragments of objects, lines, candles, small details and gestures that almost create a room, or a memory of one. Some parts feel familiar, while others stay unfinished or slightly strange. I like that balance between something intimate and something a bit unclear.

For me, this work is about the personal marks we leave in spaces and objects. It is not only about what is shown, but also about the feeling behind it, the small imperfections, the movement of the hand, and the things that do not need to be fully explained.
