Blue Anchor is about that state where, on the outside, you are still the same person, yet inside you are already slightly ahead. Not a sudden transformation, but a quiet distance between what has shifted internally and what the outer shape can still carry.
The human figure isn’t recognizable as a specific person, yet it feels clear and grounding. The face seems to have moved forward, as if it already lives in the next step, while the body remains as fragments of contour and direction. It’s less a portrait and more a condition: moving ahead before you fully catch up with yourself.
The horse appears as a sign, a symbol of instinct and direction. And the blue shapes are the anchor. They hold the entire composition together, keep it from dissolving, and bring stability to what is still in the process of becoming.
