Bold Cut explores my interest in form, silhouette, and the visual language of fashion. In this work, I was drawn to the feeling of a bold cut — something structured, expressive, and slightly unexpected. There is a suggestion of a brown coat or blazer, mixed with loose floral sketches, layered marks, and fragments that almost feel like a pattern in progress.

I wanted the painting to sit somewhere between garment and gesture, between structure and softness. The shapes are not fully fixed, which leaves space for interpretation, but the mood still holds a sense of confidence and presence. For me, this work is about composition, style, and the way a strong form can carry both elegance and tension.
