Resonance
A figure, a gesture, a line or a colour can remain long after the original moment has passed. They overlap, disappear and return in slightly different forms, much like fragments of memory.
The painting is built through these repetitions. Some marks are clear, others almost lost beneath the surface, leaving only a trace of what was there before. Resonance is about what remains with us and continues to echo, even when its source is no longer present.
