Passing By

Passing By is about moments that simply come and go. Some stay with us a little longer, while others are only a brief flash. I was thinking about the feeling of sitting in a moving car and watching different views pass by — some of them beautiful, but gone before we even have time to fully notice their details.

This painting became a quiet question for me: do we move through life in the same way? So often we are focused on the destination, on what we are trying to reach, that we forget to really see what exists along the way. Sometimes the most beautiful parts of life are found in very ordinary, simple moments.

Through this work, I wanted to reflect that feeling of passing time, movement, and the small details we often miss while rushing forward.
